The Beauty of London: London Tower Bridge

#London is the capital and largest city of United Kingdom. It is the most expensive city with largest number of point of interests and themed #restaurants. London is the most diverse city and is well connected with over 150 years old having the best #underground system. This blog will take you through the most classic point of interest in London that you will experience as a tourist.

London is situated in southeastern England, lying astride the River Thames some 50 miles (80 km) upstream from its estuary on the North Sea.

"London, thou art the flower of cities all! Gemme of all joy, jasper of jocunditie. -William Dunbar"

I have listed the below as a classic and my favorite list of point of interest from my experience and stay in London.

London Tower Bridge :

Tower Bridge, one of the London’s most famous landmarks, is a bascule and suspension bridge on River Thames. It has two towers, in Victorian Gothic style, that are connected with two walkways that are constructed so they can resist horizontal forces from suspended parts of the bridge. Its situated in south east of London. It will take around 50 minutes from East Ham(where I lived in London :) ). As a matter of fact, East Ham is one of the least expensive city of London. You can purchase Oyster card(travel pass) for a week as this is the cheapest mode of travel in London. To know more about how, where to purchase oyster card and the price, please visit the below website

I would recommend using a Jubilee line in underground as it is the fastest route to get to London Bridge.

As I mentioned, London is diverse, the city of multi cuisine and vast number of themed restaurants. You can find any number of restaurants near London bridge if you want to taste the wide array of world cuisines. If you are craving for Indian, mouth-watering and pocket friendly cuisines, I would recommend the below restaurants:

Please watch out for more information on next point of interest in London in my upcoming blog.
